Other Ignition coils with longer wires. Couch coils that will fit stand ups.

Post up any knowledge you have of different ignition coils that will fit stand ups, other than a model's typical OE.

My specific interest is in a coil that will fit a 2007 SXR that has longer wires than a SXR OEM coil. Anybody have an idea? My coil is a couple inches short.

Update:
The WaveRaider 700 and Superjet 700 use the same coil. It is approximately an inch or two longer than the SXR coil and it works fine for the SXR.

Yes, the coil mounting the same just different grommets on the wires. Waverunner 3
Awesome, thanks for the input.
Thrust is getting a SJ/WR coil to me next day, so I will see if that will work for convenience too.
Damn things are expensive compared to Kawasaki

You could just send your coil to John at Jet ski Solutions and have him make the wires any length you want

That's what I did originally and the wires are arcing off wet surfaces and I'm losing spark after one ride. So I want to try an OE coil to see if the JSS wires are the issue.
John is pretty certain that the wires are not the issue, but there's only one way to be sure.

I have a new Kawasaki 21121-3711 coil that has 18" and 23" leads, I think it fits a 750XZI. The OEM Superjet coil I bought has leads approx 6" longer. Try gaping the plugs down to .025 to reduce arching.

Man if you only needed one for testing you should of asked. Many of us part out skies and have a few coils with long leads you could try, JMO.

Thanks for the offers guys. Thrust hooked me up with a brand new SJ coil and the ski runs perfect now.

The SJ coil has an inch or two more wire than the SXR coil. So if anyone needs longer wires, it seems the SJ coil is the way to go.

Curious as to what John at JSS said? He seems pretty legit so I doubt he would not stand behind one of his problems.

Can't completely rule it out though..... I had a coil/wires/boots from JSS that caused that interfered some how with my SXR cdi. I had to back to stock coil/wire/boots. I was convinced it was the boot but John said 'no way'.

Boots were not the issue for me; I'm still running msd boots now with retainers and its great. I personally think the JSS wires were grounding on something or just not letting the spark travel, but idk why.
There's also the slim chance I got a dud OEM coil from the start.
