ignition spark problems ?s

my jet ski has real week spark that if i have the plugs totally clean they will spark but if they get wet at all the foul out. replaced spark plugs and also have a spare cdi, coil, flywheel and stator plate and have change them all. but if someone could tell me what might cause the week spark so i dont bother changing the ignition parts that would not effect it. One of my coils only has a couple rides on it. but i put in my old one and it made no difference. also cleaned all the connections in the box. any help would be great.

Check the ground wire coming from the stator. It provides ground to the E box. While you are at it check the resistance across the spark plug caps. You should get about 4500 ohms with non resistor caps, 14000 - 15000 with resistor caps.
