I've seen Momar ride at Body Beach and he can ride pretty well. He does know a lot of Pro racers and industry people from the time he has spent at Body Beach and around Racing in general, it'd be pretty hard to ride at Body Beach over the years and not know some top level folks at least some what.
Momar, plays the part, just like every other "Internet personality" on the PWC Forums. I met Momar once at a race years ago but I have never spent any time around him except on PWCToday. He'll go to war with you if you want to hassle him . . . . . I've had some fun razzing him over the years, he has a sense of humor and can take some kidding, but he won't put up with direct attacks just like anyone else. I think the "mis-information" thing is part of his "game" to tell you the truth.
Riff, I met at a friends house in 'Havasu and got to know him some over the course of a couple of days and you hit the nail on the head . . . . he's a completely different animal than Momar, easy going, very personable and a very fast, smooth stand-up racer with a lot of drive. He seems like the type who is very competitive at everything he does, I played Foosball against him and I watched him play ping pong . . . . . . . you would have thought there was a trophy waiting for the winner !
