Just got my '06 KX450F today. My last dirtbike was a 1985 Honda CR125 with no powervalve parts and a 250 pipe.

I rode the 450 today for about 3 minutes. This thing has ridiculous power. The suspension improvements in the last 21 years are phenomenal! I can't wait to get this thing out of the snow and into some dirt!

sweet ride...you will LOVE that bike, my buddy had one and loved it he just bought an 08' KXF. It's got a 4-speed gear box though that might be the only thing you have to get used to. congrats dude.

Thanks man! The '08KXF is the bike I really wan't but those won't be available to us (Kawasaki employees) until spring. I have a feeling the 4 speed won't disapoint me too much. :)

and you thought you spent to much on your ski.............................HAHA its over bud,,better cut those cards up before you go to far in the hole tricking this thing out.

Nice bike btw. I finnaly got my crf250 tarded out and been ridin it back and forth to work. So much fun. Riding wheelies and stopies is way to much fun on it. Ill get some pics up soon,but Ive got a CBR1000 tail light on it,shaved the rear fender to fit the lense. Looks pretty cool.


Again congrats on the new ride. Teh new CRFs look cool,espicialy the limited edition black ones. Might have to grab one of those.

Monster SJ, if you got the stock exhaust with the 250F try putting it on because my buddy had both the 06 KX450F and the 06KX250F and he put the two brothers exhaust on both of them and said it felt like the 250F got slower with it.

maybe i will i dont know what i want to do i know i dont want to spend money on dirtbike stuff i have to build another ski so i can do a flat water backy before you on my 3inch shortened hull not some 2 and 1/2 inch shorter hull like you got LOL before its over your gonna end up cutting the extra 1/2 out to shut me up i know it
