Impeller stuck against wear ring

bought a +10 year abandoned 92 SN recently.
removed the pump and looks like corrosion has done its job  The impeller is literally stuck against the wear ring and doesn't move a mm (tried also with a wrench)

Question 1: best way to take them apart without too much further damage ?
Question 2: I know nothing about jetski impellers, can anyone tell me by looking at picture if this prop is Aluminium or Stainless Steel ?

I have read that SS propellers can be re-welded/ filled up edges and re balanced.... what about Aluminium ? can they be repaired / rescued ?

Finally is the liner on those wear rings replaceable? i've read that sanding slightly down is a temporary solution an swelling will reoccur fast.

any jet pump experts out there ? :DIMG_20191116_170829.jpg

Sure looks like the stock aluminum piece of junk impeller. Try soaking it with some PB Blaster but it really doesn't matter if you destroy it as they are junk.
Totally agree. Split the wear ring to remove it. To my knowledge the OEM stainless wear rings (what you have) are not repairable and must be replaced. The prop is not worth refurbishing, given there are so many better stainless options.

Thank you guys,

Any recommendations for an affordable prop and ring ?
(mostly interested from european shops as I leave in Europe)
if i order from the states, it's gonna cost me a fortune in shipping and customs.

I bought the whole ski for 300 ! :p (and I have not even started the engine)
looks like it's gonna cost me more than I expected hehe !

I think I will need a complete pump....
Can't take the bloody thing apart. everything seems to be "welded" together from corrosion.
I even broke on of the "ears" trying to separate the ring from the shroud (see pic) IMG_20200305_164837.jpg. soaked, heated, etc....
think i'm going to give up

Use heat and a sledge and just whack it really hard.....your on a mission now. For your children and your children's children....you will get it apart and you will take pictures for us....

Did George Washington (aka Lincoln) just give up getting rid of slavery because people wanted slaves...NO! Did Woody give up when andy likes buzz lightyear more than him, NO! and tomorrow, we will be able to all say did SurfSleepRepeat give up when he couldnt get his pump seperated, NO!. and then we will all continue to work on our builds with renewed Vigor.

You might find a decent condition used pump on this site and see what it would cost to have it shipped from the US to Greece. You might still save money over trying to source one locally.

Yes i'm with you.
The problem is custom duties. they can charge whatever they want... and usually when they see a parcel from the US they will charge anything from 100 to 200 euro tax
no logic behind it ! Thieves !
then if i add transport + customs i might end up at the same price as a European purchase unfortunately....

lets see... my priority now is to dismantle the pump and assess what I really need.
