Improvised Tools - aka Knuckleheads at Work

NVJAY775

My home away from home.
FB pipe wrenches? I had a harbor freight open / box wrench that I ground the crap out of, that worked awesome. I will grind up another here pretty quick.

Has anybody ever used studs and nuts instead of bolts? And if so, did it save you any grief?

all you need for b pipe manifolds is a flat 12mm wrench from a bike shop. they are stamped out of thin metal and work perfect once you grind them down.

I'm shure an improvised tool for a Yamaha with solas impeller has Ben made. Thought I'd share mine since no motor sport store had a tool, even blowsion, and was a week out if I ordered one. Found these old handle bars laying about the shop, chopped a piece off and it fit perfect over the shaft. Dremel cut some teeth. Allready had the spline tool. Used a large pipe wrench, bam out she came!
