Fishermen are entitled pricks?? LOL. Maybe in CA where all the entitled snowflakes live, but boy you are painting that with a wide brush.

You might have a point! Maybe they are simply identifying as entitled pricks?

PS Awesome signature line, btw ...Is that from Rush/2112?

Buying a house on a lake. Then getting mad at the people that enjoy the lake. Just like the people around this golf course that complain about the noise from the equipment to maintain the course. Yes. Entitled. Exactly.

Explain how a person could leave hooks, guts, line, and all that in the water. And not feel entitled??Are they just stupid and don't realize that affects everyone? Talking about respect but turning a blind eye to it, seems biased.

It's not the fisherman's cove. It's my cove. Your cove. Everyone's cove.

Sexpanther. I'd have talked poop to them. It's illegal to fish a boat launch in california. Another law fisherman break constantly. And the reason alot of kids step on hooks. I deal with that EXACT issue constantly.

Fun fact. There are more conservatives in california. Than any other state. Just outnumbered by the libs.

So when people say snowflake. It just shows how little you know about the state and how you just believe everything you've been spoon fed by the news and Facebook. I traveled the country. I've seen the other states. We definitely got all of you beat. Lololol

dodgin' bass boats
There are days when I just don't feel like riding..... then a bass boat comes trolling up the cove in front of my house. That's enough motivation for me. F them all. When i got ran over in 2011, there were people here who immediately came to defend the boat driver without knowing anything about the accident. I've picked up worm and chicken liver containers here for 15 years. Lures and lines on everything.
Earlier this spring, one of our marinas suffered some storm damage. Workers were doing repairs and a fisherman was right on top of them, bouncing lures off the dock... worker asked him to go somewhere else and let them work. Basshole erupted and went off on the worker. Took to social media to rally the troops so they could all meet there and fish at the same time. "They can't tell us where to fish!" "Lake belongs to the tax payers!"...

Most of the lakes around here belong to Alabama power co, whatever they say goes, luckily there are three rivers here also and no one really has a say on those bodies of water .
I did have an incident where the exhaust hose blew off of my X2 and it started sinking quickly, I am in the water holding onto the ski and trying my best to swim it to shore, luckily I was on the Coosa river and this part wasn't that wide.

A boater comes by while this is going on and starts blessing my out, while I am swimming in a half sunken boat mind you, WTF is wrong with these people, It is Alabama law if you see someone in distress on the water you are supposed to stop and render aid, not tell them how Jet skis should all be banned, most boaters are idiots, plain and sinmple I do still try to get along with them to the best of my ability though.

My mind is still blown. It makes me feel very fortunate. We still have to deal with some bs from time to time but nothing of that caliber.

Wait were you the guy that got ran over on a fx1? And had his arm broken? That was wild if so. That us the sole reason I NEVER turn my jet ski around without looking. Even when I haven't seen someone for an hour. That thread has saved me more than once.

Never really had an issue with Fisherman. I always ask if they had any luck, We will cut up some. Some dont have much to say and some will carry on conversations. Never hurts to be friendly, does not cost you anything........If I am riding and turn into a cove or slough, if I see someone fishing I go away from them. Its called respecting others.
And that's the way it's done, folks. Thank you, Harrison, for acting like an adult when you ride.

There is no law saying anyone has to act like an adult. Especially while having fun on a lake. Your entitlement is showing again. Grandpa.

Don't adults pick up their garbage? Or is that just courteous people?

Fun fact again. Boaters kill 5-10x as many people as jet skis a yr

Well you are of course wrong, it is actually a federal law. , sorry sparkplug, fouled again :

In Alabama, the law requires that boaters render assistance to other boaters in distress. The law states that "the operator of a vessel involved in a boating accident shall render to other persons affected by the accident such assistance as may be necessary and practical to save them from or minimize any danger caused by the accident, including personal injury, and shall give his name, address, and identification of his vessel in writing to any person injured and to the owner of any property damaged

There is also the federal statute :

According to 46 U.S. Code § 2304, a master or individual in charge of a vessel is required to render assistance to any individual found at sea in danger of being lost, so far as the master or individual in charge can do so without serious danger to the master’s or individual’s vessel or individuals on board. This law applies to all vessels except for vessels of war or vessels owned by the United States Government appropriated only to a public service1.

AS far as the Grandpa comments suck it , we will see if you are still riding at my age, I for one seriously doubt it.

Now you have me wondering how old your are? When I'm riding I'm usually about the oldest out there, I'll be 63 in 2 weeks.

Huh? Show me a law that says I have to act like and adult? I didn't say anything about rendering aid. That's a coast guard law. It applies to the country. Granted I doubt they could actually pursue it, as I could just say I felt helping you would put me in danger, and you couldn't prove that I felt otherwise.

My post was referring to the guy complementing another guy for being nice to the little fishie men. While fishie man is dropping hook lines and si keys all over the lake with nasty gits for everyone to deal with and it's OK.

Better yet. I'm going out today right after work in my blaster and doing a circle around every single fisherman from.los Molino to red bluff, kudos to the fishermen I this thread.
