Yes sir! Love that album, and RUSH in general. You might have a point! Maybe they are simply identifying as entitled pricks?
PS Awesome signature line, btw ...Is that from Rush/2112?
Wait were you the guy that got ran over on a fx1? And had his arm broken? That was wild if so. That us the sole reason I NEVER turn my jet ski around without looking. Even when I haven't seen someone for an hour. That thread has saved me more than once. There are days when I just don't feel like riding..... then a bass boat comes trolling up the cove in front of my house. That's enough motivation for me. F them all. When i got ran over in 2011, there were people here who immediately came to defend the boat driver without knowing anything about the accident. I've picked up worm and chicken liver containers here for 15 years. Lures and lines on everything.
Earlier this spring, one of our marinas suffered some storm damage. Workers were doing repairs and a fisherman was right on top of them, bouncing lures off the dock... worker asked him to go somewhere else and let them work. Basshole erupted and went off on the worker. Took to social media to rally the troops so they could all meet there and fish at the same time. "They can't tell us where to fish!" "Lake belongs to the tax payers!"...
And that's the way it's done, folks. Thank you, Harrison, for acting like an adult when you ride.Never really had an issue with Fisherman. I always ask if they had any luck, We will cut up some. Some dont have much to say and some will carry on conversations. Never hurts to be friendly, does not cost you anything........If I am riding and turn into a cove or slough, if I see someone fishing I go away from them. Its called respecting others.
Now you have me wondering how old your are? When I'm riding I'm usually about the oldest out there, I'll be 63 in 2 weeks.Well you are of course wrong, it is actually a federal law. , sorry sparkplug, fouled again :
In Alabama, the law requires that boaters render assistance to other boaters in distress. The law states that "the operator of a vessel involved in a boating accident shall render to other persons affected by the accident such assistance as may be necessary and practical to save them from or minimize any danger caused by the accident, including personal injury, and shall give his name, address, and identification of his vessel in writing to any person injured and to the owner of any property damaged
There is also the federal statute :
According to 46 U.S. Code § 2304, a master or individual in charge of a vessel is required to render assistance to any individual found at sea in danger of being lost, so far as the master or individual in charge can do so without serious danger to the master’s or individual’s vessel or individuals on board. This law applies to all vessels except for vessels of war or vessels owned by the United States Government appropriated only to a public service1.
AS far as the Grandpa comments suck it , we will see if you are still riding at my age, I for one seriously doubt it.
