Don't use automotive fuel line. I just stripped a 'ski where the previous owner had and all the outer 'rubber' had disintegrated just leaving the braided inner core.

Did this yesterday on the CF Tank with JM OEM line. Took 5 minutes.

I use Tygon. 1.50$ a foot at mcmaster. Make sure and get real Tygon hose and not the junk off ebay...
That is still not nearly as good as oem fuel line. It doesn't seal or last like oem.

Lasts for years in chainsaws, lawnmowers, r/c, etc. I am going on 8-9 months using it in the fuel tank of my ski. I am going to take it out and check it now.

If you want another solution from Mcmaster, order some Viton tubing. It's the only material I've found (besides OEM tubing maybe) that is completely impervious to fuel/alky/oil. Significantly more expensive at like $4-6 a foot, but well worth it.

Nylon tubing also works well I find it too stiff to use for your regular fuel lines.
