In the market for some new gloves

I did a search but holy cow there are a lot of posts with the word glove mentioned....Anyways, My slippery gloves are shot so I'm in the market for some new ones. What do you guys recommend these days? I know most people ride with 1mil gloves. Im curious, are 2mil gloves decent for winter and summer riding or should I just stick with 1 mil goves and make sure I get the hand warmer mod done? I'm still partial to having thicker material because I hear you can scald your hand with the warmers, so gloves help with that issue but I don't want to feel like I'm wearing something that is too bulky in the summer. Your input would be greatly appreciated!

I just wear MX gloves like Thor, Fly, Nofear, etc....
I know you are talking more about cold water riding, I dont do the extreme cold but these always are just enough for me, even with the pissers on your hands.

I like the new Jet Pilot gloves, built well too... I ride at least once a week and they are holding up well after a year.

We tried the Slipperys and wore out two pairs in a season (in Michigan no less, short season). Not terribly impressed with their quality. They always seem to come apart at the stiching.

I've used O'brien watersport gloves in the past with much better success.

I got back off deployment once and I had some extra SI Oakley warm weather gloves that worked pretty good. Nothing bulky just a little extra protection quick drying.

The jetpilot glove is my favorite ski specific glove by far but I go through a couple sets a year. MX gloves feel very similar and have lasted just as long as jetpilots but were a little cheaper. The ones I used were a set of Fox racing gloves, good stuff and can purchase locally.

I used MX gloves that I had from atving, and I wore quite a few holes through them after a season. Don't think they're super expensive, and they were comfortable so I might go with them again.

this past season i went with a pair of jettribe g force gloves, seem to be the best i have tried so far,im pretty hard on gloves and was going through 2 pairs of jet pilot gloves a season all while sewing them up occasionally to try and make them last. the jettribe g force gloves almost lasted me a season with just the palm wearing/tearing recently.water ski gloves seem more durable but found them to be too thick and uncomfortable.
