Indoor Soccer Cleats or Wrestling Shoes

I’m sure this will prompt more of the debate but has anyone tried indoor soccer cleats? If so which is better, them or wrestling shoes still?

Spotted these today and they look like they might be pretty cool for grip with the turf sole and they have the neoprene ankle booty.

I tried my indoor cleats when the ski was on the trailer- but it didn’t feel right. Plus it seemed like it would really scuff up the turf

I love turf cleats. Indoor shoes and wresling shoes are too smooth on the bottom but I have some turf shoes with that nubs on the bottom like yours and I am licked in like I have outdoor cleats but doesn't destroy the turf like them.

Don't worry about the debate of if cleats are too much or not. Same goes for heal locks or none. Ride with whatever you are comfortable with and will make you ride the hardest.

These had really soft grippy soft soles/nubs for cleats so I can’t imagine they would rip up the turf. I know everything I have tried so far my feet slip out of so the next shoe is either wrestling shoes or something like this. I also can’t see how the smooth wrestling sole would stay in but a lot of guys are running them so they must work.

What about rock climbing shoes? They are grippy all around. I’ve always used slippery race shoes. I like the 2 piece construction with the neo booty. Jet pilot has several new shoes too now

Five10 makes super good rock climbing shoes and I run their mountain bike shoes with the same rubber compound. I have tried them but something about the turf/water mix they lose their gripping power from what I've noticed. Been eyeballing the new Jet Pilot and Jet Tribe race boot, just haven't seen much input on those other than initial reports.

You're trollin right? This is a freestyle jetski forum. Also, Google "best soccer cleat reviews"
You must not use footholds.
And the answer the every shoe question is DC court graffixs with the cushy thick tongue. Mmmmmm so comfy.

@bored&stroked Pretty sure she deleted her comment, I was responding to a soccer mom who created an account and revived a thread from 2018 to inquire which cleats she should purchase for for her son, I guess he just joined the soccer team.

You're not wrong, we just might be able to direct her towards a solid pair of cleats. Just made me laugh, like you had to get past a watersport url, pages of unrelated content and threads, security questions oriented around "jetskiing" when you created the account, and all the posts in this thread....still didnt catch on

At the top of Google recommendations but also my favorites is Nike Mercurial Superfly 8 Elite CR7. Even Cristian Ronaldo played in them. Why would I be inferior? In fact, I love this brand, and I love everything they create. I also have running shoes from Nike and a pair of air jordans at forstepstyle that I have worn practically every day for a year already, and I haven't worn out. They are light; the foot does not sweat, and these pair of sneakers are as beautiful as comfortable.

What kind of ski do you ride?

I've Tried wrestling shoes and they worked well with standard footholds and general riding. Once I put adjustable footholds on my superjet, the wrestling shoes just werent tall enough and couldnt get the holds low enough so I tried these vans and have been happy with them. Taller soles allows snug kick in and less risk of kicking your toe in the foot holds. Once they get a lil used, you'll have to get them wet to get them on well. I also use neoprene socks20211226_210821.jpg
