Industrial Pump Removal

Soo I work at the local ski shop from time to time when my boat repair business is slow. This week a Kawi stx came in with a locked pump. Yea no crap. Locked and wouldn't slide off the shaft. Tried a slide hammer - no good, tried a come a long - nope. How about my F350 and a 12,000lb winch with the ski on a trailer attached to a Hummer - eventually

The first 2 times I dragged the Hummer back 4ft with the wheels chocked. We heated it for 20min before it finally popped. Thank the lord we had a safety rope on the pump. Was like a bullet.

Thats nuts man! I must say though, reading the story was much more impressive than the pics. I was thinking to myself "how the hell did that f350 pull a hummer around" Then saw the pics. Hummer H3=Trailblazer on steroids lol.

Here's a few shots of what the truck is used for really. My side business. I am one of 3 contracted companies to handle the "Beach Towing" here in our town. You are able to drive on the beach year round with a 4x4 and permit. These are a few cars who think Daytona

had a friend do that to a sd and it ripped the bow hook out of the nose

Haha, Ronnie needs to upgrade to a H1, or a H2 at the least if that's going to be the preferred method of stuck pump removal. :icon16:
