I was trying to find a cheaper underpadding to use than hydroturfs. I ran across this today http://www.foamforyou.com/minicell_foam.htm .... Just wondering if any one has ever found a cheaper alternative to hydroturf's.

Did you buy any of that? I think it is more rigid than the HT underpad.
I have used garage mats before for temporary, and it actually worked fine for the short time I left it on. I think they may wear down fast though.

Compared to what for you?
It's as firm as the black stuff from ht it seems. But I got a smaller thickness then the ht I had so hard to say. To me it feels perfect. But opinions are like..... We all got em.

There should be, if there isn't already, a local industrial supplier of foam sheets. In Columbus, we have Rubbertec, scraps to them are enough to do 10 trays. Cheap$$
