so i was just working on my seadoo and noticed that the main feed like from the pump goes to the head instead of the exhaust mani.
and from the classes i took in school about cars and talking to engine builders, i know that when u keep the heads cool and the domes cool u can run more timing and more compression cause the combustion chamber is cooler, acting kinda like a higher octane fuel.
so y dont any other manufactures feed the engine through the head??
and would it be harmful to do it on my superjet??
it just kinda seems like it would be better having a cooler head and warmer exhaust and the exhaust wouldn't be getting as cold of water cause it would be kinda preheated allowing the exhaust to get alittle warmer allowing a faster sonic wave in the pipe and better scavenging.
i understand with a 4-stroke(car) the air would also be cooler cause the head is also part of the intake, and that u would have to make sure your motor is warm before u go ripping on it cause it could cold seize.
