Other Inside the TPE964

DON'T, restrict the power valve movement! You will do nothing but limit how the engine power functions. What are you going to achieve? Craig, I saw you hit the gas and launch the boat with the way it is, you will achieve nothing but waste time and maybe cause needless issues. Your boat makes more than enough power the way it was when we did the first tests. Let the others learn for themselves.

MadMat, looking good for Thursday, puppy in tow

Tonight, -we'll see how- the new pump gearing works,
- EZ trim (this one won't be left at the bottom of the lake, Eric.lol)
- and hood mod

@masterblaster, I'm always after pushing the envelop (ergonomically), but I'm barely a level 1 mechanic,
probably not the best candidate to go unconventional w/ engine mods. That being said,
someone that knows more about these things should try it. Let us know.

for the record:

-Propped back down to C75 15/20 (maybe 16/20)w/ large cone. (as recommended by xxx Octane xxx ). it was poppin' (no slip)
-EZ trim still attached lol
- hood pin seems to be working (new video needed to verify)

Hit the ramps late, maybe 8:30, water was calm. Only 8 BIG PWC's boppin' around, close to shore. Anyways, so I'm watching them ride, and they were hot doggin' ! it's really a sight to see. Go fast turn hard, spin, repeat.

So the passion and time in to this hull is very clear! SUPER clean and tidy and it is only a prototype. It is like nothing I have ridden. I don't have enough time on it and only on flat but I can say that it is recoverable from ANYTHING. No need to ever ever let go or fall off. The TPE 964 is a work of art and ran flawlessly. The pump tune feels dead on but maybe just maybe a tad more hit on the bottom with a tiny carb adjustment.

I could not believe how well the seat/knee areas were designed! No corners cut on that!

I really really look forward to hitting some waves and trying to roll it!

It was interesting to see someone else ride the sportbike. (A 1st) Matt's standup riding skills, translated really well.
Looking forward to hitting some waves and watching Matt, (not me) roll it. lol

Recovery=Low COG, and powering out

Edit: auto correct? poop e becomes poope?

yer right. I fabbed one for yesterdays roadtrip, mild steel, and that broke. I'm thinking that it's the way I'm setting it up, (too far from crank axis), I'll make another one for tonight.
@speedysprocket thanks for calling me out...
