Installing 62t ProTec Intake Manifold

Went to install ProTec intake mani and it quickly became apparent the stock 4 bolts won't fit on the top. I figure my two options are either cut the top of each hold so it will slide up (like the top of a factory pipe exhaust mani) OR install studs and use nuts.

What have people done?

Thats what I figured. What size are the studs and how long?

I don't remember. For some reason 25mm comes to mind. You'll have to measure what you'll need sorry

studs with the smaller style nuts. if you can find them the narrow allen heads also work. ACE used to have them.

A hardware kit for a dasa intake might work, they sold me one a few years ago, includes the 4 studs and Allen bolts

I'll look into Dasa. Maybe JM sells them.

Otherwise off to the hardware store I go.

If you want to go local and get it asap and the stud route is all that works, and your hardware store doesn't have any.. Look for full length threaded bolts . Worse case scenario you cut the heads off and make your own studs
