Just wanted to restate what Slut already said, make sure it's above 50f! I remember trying to finish my turf the night before Lanier last year. Wasteland was passed out on the couch, I was outside freezing my ass off trying like hell to get the stuff to set up. It worked out in the end, but the low temps made it a lot more interesting... That and the fact that, about half way through, dew started to collect on my ski! Im kind of shocked I kept it dry enough that my turf is still on today. :banghead:
Luckily Im too poor to care about bein pretty, it works and thats enough for me. hehe
If you got the kit of the sitdown, Id imagine you won't need the heatgun as much as the standup crowd does trying to form it to footholds and rails. Just beat the snot out of it with the mallet. If you're using turf thats a color other than black, be sure you get one of those white mallets that wont leave marks.
