Saturday morning I got up and went to Charles house to set up and install MSD multichannel digital t/l in my ski. I thought to myself this would be a 2-3 hour project. LOL I did not know how to solder
anything and dam sure did not understand t/l. I got there at 11:30 Saturday morning and at 3:00AM we fired up my ski with the new t/l installed. Crammit has the patience of a saint!!! I now have a much better understanding of why his t/l systems never fail. I would never do another t/l system for anybody for less than $10,000.00.
LOL I guess I am now in debt to team crammit for $9644.00. LOL And btw-if you ever want to see a shop that has every tool you ever need to do anything to any ski w/'special tools' out the azz, stop by and visit crammit!!! Be sure and say hi to Buddy while you are there!

Yup took me most of a weekend to set mine up last year. Do it right, be patient, and you wont have to deal with gremlins all year..... I was good for 2 years, even in salt!

Oh and don't be a dumb ass and mount it to a conductive board like me...... Eventually it will bend you over....

Yeah, I thought I'd work on my boat while Gil finished up the TL and I'd help him as needed along the way...........hahahahahahaha! I didn't really feel like working on mine anyway......:lmao: Just kidding. We got the opportunity to learn how to set up a brain with a burned out LED. All things considered, we really made pretty good time. It was actually a pretty good time. We watched a lot of Andy Griffith.......and Gil smoked a LOT of cigarettes.

I didn't have that option. :(

We thought about the old lay the #1 spark plug on the head and w/she lights up we know where it's firing. But since my dumb azz spilled a fair amount of fuel in the hull w/I pulled the tank my partner in crime thought that might be a bad idea. What did you do?

I made sure not to spill gas and used the plugs as spark indicator.

I have set my boat on fire before.

At least everything worked for you. Mcdog and I both had gremlins in our TL's before it got to us. Both ended up being the coil but it was really depressing when it would ran like a champ on land and once you get it in the water, it would barely plane off. Guess that's the price you pay when you arne't willing to buy new.

Four hours with Gil. That's a lot of SunDrop.

4 HOURS MY AZZ, I got there at 11:30AM Sat morning and did not leave till 3:15AM Sun morning. If Charles ever see's me again it will probaly be too soon and he will probaly choke me! LOL I think it ended up being 15hours and 45minutes. LOL Now you can clearly see he does indeed have the patience of a saint, otherwise I would already be dead.
