installing XFT bracket ? about breather hole

the bracket bolt holes line up perfect, but a new 2 inch hole will need to be cut. half of the old hole overlaps the new hole do i need to worry about the opening under the bracket (i.e reglass and cut hole) or just cut new hole and let the bracket cover the half circle?

I fixed that problem when I reinforced the handlepole area. You may want to consider doing the same.

I had the same set up, I just let the bracket cover up the half circle. I did not have any problem...

did you have to grind down the tube that the hose connects to that goes through the hole in the bracket?stupid thing wont fit and shops up here want to charge me 50 bucks to take 1/16th off all the way around the end. its bad enough that i had to wait for this stupid piece that was forgetten when my order shipped. after i spent an extra 70 to have the order expressed so i could ride by memorial day weekend. so now 2 weeks later and know i have to wait (and spend MORE money) on gettin this part machined:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:
