Is this thing running yet ?
No but will be this weekend. I got my engine back right before I left town on a fishing trip and have worked daylight till dark since I came back. Tomorrow I'll drop it in and report.

Ride and wrench buds are priceless sometimes. I was re-installing my ATP Flame and hit a brain block for about 20". I was trying to understand why my static timing was so far off from my original settings when I was putting stator back the original spot. I would mess with it. Read directions for confirmation. Recheck timing and fiddle some more but basically doing the definition of crazy...doing same chit time and again and expecting different results. Well, my hombre @McDog looked at it 10 secs and said ur measuring TDC from wrong spot, and calmly went back to building his ski. He pretty much saved me a brain aneurysm and straight jacket.

In any case, Thx @Blue for uber clean engine work and ridiculous turn around time. Buttoned her up today and ready to drop in tomorrow for tray time.

Uh, what cylinder is that?
Top secret prototype we've been working on. It's a "one-off" unobtanium alloy made by our minions down in the CSD lab (Chan Skunkworks Division) under professor Sportfish direction. He's hoping for a patent to be approved so we can fire up the reactor and start pumping these out retail to sell through a joint venture with NASA and CSD. Dyno results to follow the deep submersion testing in the Mariana Trench.

The Biotch is back!

Water test was fine and ran fine...for the 3" I got to ride. Apparently I cracked my steering nozzle and during warm up/break-in the nozzle blew apart. I was about 5 mins from my dock so I idled it back and used my legs as rudders to steer it home. Put in the customary order with @JetManiac and will wait for serious tray time mid-week. Hopefully Mcdog will have his ski buttoned up for holiday shenanigans.
