hey all. been a while since i have been out riding but my kids are old enough now and we have been going out this summer with the superjet.
every time it goes out i get this random no spark condition. normally it occurs on the water. one time before we even got it off the trailer.
example yesterday we rode for 2 hours and it was solid the whole time. then on the ride back in , just lost spark and stopped in it's tracks.
from then on it would crank , every so often fart and let out some smoke but not run.
once i got home she runs like new again .
last week was out with dj korn and literally less than 5 minutes into the ride same thing. just dead but would crank. after it was up on the trailer for 20 minutes or so, she ran like new.
i have taken apart and cleaned the start stop switch, swapped coils. rebuilt a coil.
i was thinking the cdi next but usually when those die on me , they just die.
set up is all stock electrical , oem components. ( except the plug wires are now taylor spiral core with msd caps)
any other thoughts?
