been reading on here for a little while and just started posting so i'll introduce myself.

first off i bought Bill Adkins 2k4 squeeky clean RN :Banane01:. the one advertised in Yamaslut's signature. i live and ride in HAITI. all flatwater, so surf nearby...

ski was shipped out of miami today, should have it by this weekend (if the monkeys at customs do thier jobs properly!!)

been riding skis since i was a kid. always owned couches myself but rode friends' standups quite a bit. girlfriend rides alot with us now so made the move on my very own RN and she can ride the couch. (at least until she gets a taste of stand up:cool:)

Welcome, I also rode a couch to start. Let me tell ya a standup is an addiction in the past 5yrs I have hade 9 diffrent standups. Get ready for some of the best times of your life on water.

Thanx for the welcome...

LOTS of skis down here but mostly couches. very few are modded at all. started modding my couch a while back and some people caught on, most are content with stock. if not they go all out and buy a newer "faster" model...

in our group: 6 standups (2 sx-r & 4 RN) i think one guy bought an sxi but haven't seen him in a while, and over a dozen couches.

parts are not a problem, theres always someone traveling to the states and most parts can just be packed in a suitcase. larger/heavier items just get shipped Fed-Ex, DHL etc. (expensive but usually worth it).
