Iphone 4 Waterprof case = Succes film of SXR 800

Hi All.

I have just bourght a waterprof case to my Iphone so i can track routes and for security.

Today we tried filming throw the case.

Im impressed of the quality.

I'm guessing he's using a lifeproof case. Make sure to test them first without the iphone in the case to make sure the case isn't defected.

I've had one on my phone for the last 2 months, haven't Ski tested it yet though. I have tossed it in a couple pitchers of beer though, seems to work great!

LOL thats the first thing I did with mine too. look on the waitresses face was worth the 80 bucks.

The little foam kind? There is a go pro at the bottom of the river close by, They tied several to it........ foam ripped right off. If your wanting to just track get a Garmin Etrex, believe they are somewhat waterproof plus you can get a clear waterproof bag for it. A lot safer and less costly if lost.

lifeproof cases are not 100% do not trust that at all Beware.

my buddy got one a few months back. he takes it in the pool with him at least a couple times a week. never had any issues.

I will take a picture of my so you can se it, there is a plastic clips there seal around the sides and then there is SILIKONE cover on the back and front, the advance on that is you can use it in the water.

I also have been using the life proof case with the go pro mount. I zipped a peace of foam around the base and it floats very well. The only flaw i see in the design is the bottom of the case were you connect your sync cable pops open very easily.
