awwwyeah. they will still make them if there is a margin of profit on them. if they sold out of SJ's this year they would make 25% more next year and so on... sales determine if they produce.

I read in a prorider magazine last year that they interviewed Scott Watkins (who works for Yamaha) and asked him about the talk and rumors about the end of the superjet production
These were the almost the exact words " we haven't planned and don't plan on stopping the production of superjets"
Then they came out with the 2014.. Its funny when you see a craiglist add about someone ranting on about their 08 SJ and how it was the last year made and such.. when they still have been producing them for 6 years.. With as big as the sport has grown in the surf over in Australia and places like that and yamaha giving away SJ's at events i don't think there will be an end to them for a while.. I think they will only get better.. I read a post on pwctoday about someone going and meeting with somone from yamaha about the 2015 superjets and was geting a bunch on input form people about what they would want to see.. But it hasn't been updated in a while.

if they plan on staying in the sport from now on they need to make some changes to move with the sports freestyle direction IMO. but what do I know?

Word on the street is there will be a 15 Superjet. Kind of makes sense since a lot of dealers are clearing out their 14s now for 6500-6999 on ebay.
