is 750 style exhaust > 650 style exhaust?

ok guys this might be a retarded question. i have a 750 pretty much that was in a 650sx hull, with a 650 westcoast exhaust, which hauled (_)(_) fairly well. so i'm going to a 750 style hull and would the new 750sx style exhaust produce more power than the 650 style? or am i better off keeping with what i have.

I'm planning on going with the same impeller set up as what i had on the 650
if possible

-unless of course the 750 style exhaust produces more hp :) :) also i'm lookin at getting dual carbs maybe? i have a 38 on it right now. again would that be worth the bookoo bucks to do?

i ride mostly flat water out here but you know how it is, you can always use more power :) haha

thanks in advance guys!

I would get a 750 FPP. Either a dry pipe if you want speed or a wet pipe if you just rec ride or do freestyle.

Stock 750 pipes are bean cans, they suck. The stock 650 pipe actually looks like a pipe to me with the converging and diverging cones.

West Coast used the same pipe on both 750 SX and 650's. You could use it but I would lean more towards a 750 FPP or Coffman Rocket pipe.

These are just my opinions, I have owned a few 650's over the years and a friend had a Coffman Rocket pipe on a 750 SX once.

nah i'm talkin over aftermarket 650/750 pipes. i have a stock 750 pipe and it doesnt look like any 2 stroke theory was involved in designing it lol

but whats a FPP?

i think for now i'm going to go with my 650's west coast pipe, yeah i do a lot of freeride/freestyle, its nice to be able to be faster than the couchers once in a while but i'd rather show em up freestylin.

but to upgrade to later whats everyone's opinion on the "hot setup" for me, or for what i do?

All right thanks,

so onto ignition? anything i can do there for a few extra hp?
sttill up for opinions on impeller pitch and everything? i honestly dont konw what was on my 650, dude i got it off of said it was a "custom 3 pitch impeller from skat trak"
pretty much as fast if not a touch faster than a stock sxi pro
good enough for freeride for the diff hull?

The only ignition mods I would recommend are getting a lightened flywheel or a total loss ignition which has an even lighter flywheel with customizeable timing curves.

Timing advance plates/programmable CDI's, and stock flywheel lightening will net some noticeable gains together but no where near as much as total loss. In addition, if you get a used total loss, you can sell your entire electric system. If you play your cards right, you can almost break even... I sold my electric box for $115, stator for $100, and stock lightened flywheel for $90. I bought a good used total loss for $275...but expect to pay around $400 for a used system.
