is deka 16L a good battery for huricane?

ready for a new battery and thought I read that guys like deka batterys
not sure what one to get. its going in a hurricane hull with ET 967 between the firewall and TNT pipe.
need a smaller one so I can get it in and out but want to be sure it has enough CCAs

not set on deka but looking for advice. thanks

I picked up a Deka ETX16L for my SuperJet for $94.00 shipped from bohannonbattery.com. I found multiple people recommend that vendor and I like to support a small shop.

Got a prompt email reply to my RFQ, and they immediately sent out brand new stock that was manufactured the same month.

You can see all their sizes here: http://www.bohannonbattery.com/html/deka.html
I think you may want an "L" (swapped) terminal layout if the wiring is the same as a SJ, so make sure to confirm what you need before you order.

I'm sure the battery will last for many many years, and it's made in USA.

For half the price I have bought a few "Pirate Battery/ZIPP" AGMs for other skis and they were ~$55 last year, however nothing but the best for my SuperJet :)

It looks like the ZIPP's are now about $80, so the Deka is a clear winner in my book anyway.

If your talking AGM for a freestyle hull a Deka 9 or equal fits . reliability with some weight saving to boot .Battery mart Big crank ext9 usually for good price around $70 fast shipping other places online have deka 9 advertised for cheaper but have no experience buying from them

I bought the deka 12 on Sunday night from Amazon but my tracking looks like it won't be here in time for the weekend. Dam!! Hopefully get another couple days out of the old one.
Thank you all for the advice
