Is it really worth the $700+ dollars for a lightweight pole?

IMO the advantages of the A/M poles aren't worth the huge price tag. Especially the ones in the $1000 and up range.

The stock pole is light, has a lot of A/M support, will help upright the ski if capsized, can be shortened, and can even be somewhat adjustable with a riser bar setup.

I'd seriously be that guy with a stock Yami pole on his Rickter haha.

Main reason behind buying my cast RRP was the adjustability. Rode my ski with the stocker and couldnt get comfortable. Put the RRP on -2 on the tubes and short turn plate made all the difference in world. Was well worth the money IMO.
