Ok so this guy is selling a 2004 Yamaha Superjet hull the only things it has are the hull pole and steering it’s has footholds and 0 or 4 degrees handlebars first question is how much would it be worth/ how much should I pay second question is what would be the estimated cost to build this thing and get it running third is how hard is everything to do I’m a pretty handy guy and I know lots of people who know engines and all that stuff better than me fourth question would be is it even worth it to do would I end up los

In the northeast I would say around $1000 to $1200 for the hull. You will spend way more in the end by building a ski. Just shipping on parts alone adds up really fast. Tough to put a complete price on a build, depends on the parts you use. Stock hulls go together real easy. Motor-$1k. 144 pump set up -4 hundred ish. Pipe $5-7 hundred water box $100 exhaust hose $80. Fuel tank $100. Electronics $300. intake grate, ride plate, mid shaft, and and and and.....

If you're new to this, and it sounds like you are, buy a RTR ski. Then you can grab a project. If you start off with a project, you're more apt to take shortcuts to get on the water. Combine that with a lack of knowledge from inexperience, and you're likely to build a turd that will just p!ss you off and cost you lots of money, and you'll get mad with the sport quickly.
Get a solid runner for a base, and THEN you can throw away money and fluck stuff up. At least you can jmp on a ski and ride away your problems. (until you get home)
