Thanks that's exactly what I mean. And ever since my son has been born. My time has become more valuable then wrenching in the garage on stuff that can be replaced cheaply if it fails. Don't get me wrong I love to save money and I don't mind wrenching to do it. But I got to know there is a problem or be out allot more than a" basic " 701 style motor. And I don't expect every 1 to agree. It's just how I feel

Pay attention to some of the bad advice replies in this thread.... these folks are the ones you should never buy an engine from.

Pay attention to people who jump on bandwagons they rarely know what they are talking about and only drive prices up with false hype. And what you may call bad advice. I would call giving helpful advice. Or anything other than yep it's f@cked. Tear it down and build it up again. When you don't know that for sure. You have no clue really.

You need to work on your reading comprehension (he said the plugs are corroded) and while you are at it your punctuation.

If he wanted to risk blowing his poop to pieces he wouldn't have posted the question. Nobody said rebuild the thing, rather to open it up and take a look at what he's dealing with. If it's got rust inside he could easily rebuild it for $250-$300 or so if he's capable of doing it himself. Running until it lets go, which it will if there is rust, is going to come in at $600 for used stock or $1725 for another JM/Blue 718.

Lol burn!!!
You need to work on your real world skills. He obviously thought at least for a second it might be OK to run or he wouldn't have posted the d@mn question. And that's real great prove your point by insulting me. You must know because you so much smarter than me I's just be a dumb dumb boss man. Carry on

LOL

Not insulting you, just stating fact... I have no idea what you were trying to say in your last 5 fragments above that I quoted.

For all I can see is you were telling me specifically that "You have no clue really." (since you did mimic my post) when the OP specifically stated that there was a clue with plug condition which leads to something more going on inside the engine.

Anyway, if I'm the boss man I say get back to work.
