Super Jet Is nozzle boring worth it?

great find OCD, thanks for the post... I will be calling in the morning!

I knew I had seen a Yamaha 144 setup with the rings somewhere and I finally found it. Solas still makes it and offers it as a complete pump setup. Unfortunately they don't offer spare rings or parts.

I ordered one today and should have it by the end of the week. Both reduction and trim nozzles come with removable rings and the trim is convertible between up/down trim with minimal tooling. Included rings are 85/88mm

Here's a couple shots I pulled off the web. The green rings are from a Kawi setup.

You are most welcome, almost wondering if this deserves it's own thread now?

Anyways, just about every dealer that is selling the Solas Stainless Mag should be able to get their hands on these too. We just need to ask.

That is a very good find.

I do believe this deserves it's own thread.

All of the info here from everyone has opened my eyes (and I'm sure others) to pump tuning and pump setups.

Hey zero that is some great info. What are your thoughts on the fins in the reduction nozzle. Seems to me It's the difference between a tight or wide spread jet blast. I like to have the wider spread but it is a difference in stability. It seems to get the push of the blast happening quicker. It makes turns different so I ended up using the aluminum fx140 turn nozzle. Which makes again, noticeable change in the skis tracking. I like it better than one without the little fins.

Also curious about this. Hoping the great oracle @#ZERO might be able to fill us in? =)
