Is there an easy way to tell what size pump I have.

I was told it was a Solas SS 12 vane but the previous owner didn't know what size. This is a super jet driveline btw, just wanted to know the easiest way to find out what I have.

You could probably pull the intake grate and stick something in there to at least determine if it is 144 or 148. Doesn't take a super accurate measurement to make that distinction, you could cut a 144mm circle in a piece of cardboard, slit it and cut out the center, stick it in there and if it is about the size of the wear ring you have a 144, if it's about 4mm too small you have a 148.

How do I tell if the wear ring is stock? I've only ever had older Kawasaki's, yamaha is new to me.

As Kevbo said the stock wear ring is a stainless liner in an aluminum housing. Solas sells solid stainless wear rings (the whole housing is one piece stainless) in both 144 and 148 sizes, so if it is a one piece housing that doesn't really tell you anything.
