Other is there any tricks to pressing out old cyl sleeves ?

well getting the sleeves out was easier then getting them back in , I final went to a buddy's and burrowed his press then the sleeves popped right in

My son is building this one I am trying to just provide supervision :Banane26: so it has been slower doing a little here and there after school but he sand lasted the trash out of the inside , washed everything and has the engine mostly assembled now, we found we are missing a few parts like the carb hold down nuts, elec cover face plate and bolts to hold it , a a quick connect plug for the wiring harness . I am going online today to try and find that stuff.
Here are pictures of what has has so far. Hopefully we (He) will be pulling the old engine out of the blaster in the next few days then we can fiberglass in some new engine mounts for the 1100

Does anyone know if I'll have to change the rubber and the coupler on the intermediate housing shaft to work with the 1100 ?

First time I did this, I dropped a sleeve on the kitchen floor, luckily it was ugly linoleum LOL. I slid the rug over a bit more and the wife never noticed.
