Is there something visibly wrong here?

After a very short WOT run my 96 RN quit me and when I finally got it started again and limped back to shore the starter sounded like a no compression situation, the speed it cranks when you're pumping water out of the cylinders. Put a compression gauge on it and got 30psi in the first cylinder and 160 in the second cylinder. I think the gauge wasn't tight on the first cylinder. Took the head off, saw there were multiple different kinds of bolts on it. Its a riva head, unsure of the dome size but they're roughly 50mm across inside. The 2nd picture down shows some gunk I saw on the stud below the cylinder.

it seized. the rings are stuck in the piston grooves and not springing out to make contact with the cylinder walls and create compression. cylinder needs to be taken off and honed, pistons need to be sanded/filed to get the rings unstuck and the rash cleaned up. and that's the hillbilly fix with no money involved. just about everybody else will say it needs bored and pistons, which is also a possibility.

It's a good idea to check the crank and wash it thoroughly with premix to get all the metal debris out from the bearings. Then put new seals in and your new top end.

I'm able to push the pistons down and the engine moves freely. Edited the first post, the images didnt show up from imgur for some reason.

This is how I revived my engine about 3 times when my crank bearings wore out. I was getting a lean condition from the excessive bearing wear allowing the crank to move around opening up an air gap between the seals. Lean seized twice before I found the problem, installed the new crank and did clean up #3, ran great until a ring snagged an exhaust port on the down stroke a couple of years later :D Only then did I opt for a full bore and rebuild since the snagged ring embedded a small ding in the cylinder wall. Been running very well since the overhaul...again lol.

I think the other visibly wrong thing is the boat tank primer bulb lol, if that check valve inside goes bad or gets plugged it will also spawn up gremlins.
yeah was wondering why that was on there. I've only had the ski a few weeks. Very clean and looks well put together but id never seen a bulb on a ski before
