i might buy one then, however i picking up a pipe and manifold and a new prop (16 pitch?) and a head so i might hold off on this for a bit. i seriously love this hobby compaired to cars where going faster is much much more expensive.
in the second pic that is not a UFO in the upper left its a time exposure pic so its some sort of aeroplane. i plan to paint my ski the same theme that i used on the engine i built. i dont have an pics of it with the new front bumper and the black wheels because i sol it a week after i put the bumper on.
considered and rejected due to price and lots of fab work required, i do however have a spare 13b in my garage and an empty seadoo hull behind my garage......hmm the gears are turning
I hear ya. I have never owned an RX7 but I would like one of each generation and an RX8 too. I am sure you have seen 20B swaps before, nothing new there. As far as the Sea Doo swap goes, there was a guy a few years back named Rexx Grudge Motorsports that was doing exactly that! I had his website but it eventually got taken down. There was pics on PWCT but in their many reformats they were lost. Still though, search over there.
drove a 20b fc and it was a bad mother, actually had torque... lots of it. there are 2 routs of installation and he had the better/more expensive version. my 13b was street ported with no emissions and and all the 'free mods' done. it also had a 75 shot of nitrous. wasn't the most powerful wankel but i built it to be reliable. still pretty fast though.
Just 11 or 12 years ago... still miss her... there's nothing like drifting in traffic on the way home from work in the rain after a long day in the office...
my heart races.... i love the black car with black wheels and polished lip look.
fd's are amazing chassis's, but even basket cases are expensive. i don't think i'd ever have the patience for one.
