ISO of yamaha vx1050 parts

I am in search of this like bulkhead for my ski I don’t know what it’s called or where to find it any help would be great thanks

To find parts you can go to a site like partzilla.com and look at the schematics to figure out the name/part number.

I did I looked through every schematic there was and didn’t find it anywhere that’s why I am asking here but I will double check again

What is wrong with the bulkhead currently in your ski ?

the rubber tube that go around the driveshaft has no where to connect to on the bulkhead side I think it got sheared off somehow

Does that piece actually unbolt from the hull, I looked on the fiche and I don't see it either , it also does not show what the tube connects to.

My suggestion is post this up on Greenhulk.net, I don't usually get stuff this new in to work on and when it do it's oil , battery and spark plug changes.

It does unbolt from the hull but it is also like resined in I believe I’ve taken the bolts out of it and could probably get it out just don’t know where to get another one

I don't think you can get another one unless you can find one from a trashed or damaged hull, usually on the resin they use you can heat it up with a heat gun or small torch and get it apart, you may very well be stuck with repairing what you have so work very carefully if you try to remove it.

Yea even if I knew the measurements on it for the seals and outer tube to clamp too Mabye I could fiberglass a small section of pvc

The FX cruiser I am working on now has a 1.50" OD tube and the OD of the rubber hose is 1.75" if that helps. Yes you can defiantly epoxy PVC in there if you rough it up first.

That helps a ton wish I could just look at one outta a ski lol but definitely am gonna try the pvc thing and will get some pictures of what happend to it
