Hope you make it. I hope its not like the SKY in the rear, doesnt look like it in the pics, but the sky was a HUGE mistake IMO. The Q* on the other hand was a great little hull and with some improvements would have been perfect. Hoe the Areal 8 is just that.

What was a mistake about the sky?? It was a q8 with shallow chines at the rear. Its a great hull and rode just like the Q8.

Sketch and rocky, I dont know anyone but now you that liked the ride of the sky. It literally had no chines at the rear and just rolled like a scared puppy, no stability at all. The Q8 had SOME stability, not enough IMO but enough to still be a fun boat, took a minute to learn how to recover but once you did it was fun. The SKY wont recover . It was a Q* whit the rear chines dayum near sawzawed off or so it appeared.

And huge thanks to my brother Jason for building another fine specimen. Eric and his people did a phenomenal job getting everything together in time and he sent it to me with the motor and drive line bolted in it.

Jason can build your ski as well! Albany has a jet ski division that will build your new ski or just mod out your current ride! They have the nicest shop that I have ever seen and are a DASA dealer. Tell them what you want and they'll order it up and build it the right way!

Mike, you've always built the best looking EME's. Looks awesome.

Thanks buddy. I always like a guy who can appreciate nice work. I wish I could take credit for the EME builds but I have to give it to my humble brother. I stare at his work in disbelief everytime. I will give myself some credit for good decal colors :bigok: . Also gotta hand it to Eric for making these things an easy build. He had everything trimmed and clearenced perfectly.

IMG_1301.jpgYUP, the VXR PRO is a little unstable but I think with some tubbies and rear sponsons from an 1100 raider I can get her feeling better.

Maybe you should ride Joe's Freak more often LOL!!!

Joes freak is a nice ride. I like it. I happen to like the eme stuff better. The freaks dont seem to want to get off the water as hard as an eme imo. It would, however, require you to actually be able to do a flip to know that though......BOOM! DOME SHOT

Im just messing with you buddy. I dont know how well you ride and while both hulls ride differently they both deserve a lot of respect. I am partial to EME because I think they are the shiot and they put my fat arse nice and high in the air.

I hear about the looks of the nose, but if it keeps water out of your face I don't care what it looks like.

Great build and I cannot wait to see it in Daytona. Interested to see how it compares to Josh's Q8

Wow! That thing looks ridiculous Mike! Hope we can ride together this year and I can get you to try out our Gen 2 Bobs to see how these hulls compare:)
