the savages from the clinic called me and said it was miller time. i called kamakazi chris and he showed up with his fancy camera, despite saying he had other plans. the UK import luke "showtime" stocks came with the whole clinic gang. showtime on a stock stroke pump gas 900 was living up to his name. as usual, the clinic made the rest of us look stupid.

This stretch of the Sacramento River along Miller Park and the Marina runs pretty much north-south. We're on the beach on the east bank. So, we get the mid to late afternoon sun in our face. These shots were taken between 3:00 and 4:00 pm. I had to go down the beach about 200 feet so that the sun was not in front of me. Ideally, I wanted the sun at my 6 o'clock (directly behind me) but it was more like my 8 o'clock in these shots.

Of course, I wouldn't have anything to shoot without these guys doing crazy things on their skis.

Thank you! I'm kind of in the same situation. I'm always behind the camera and there are virtually no shots of me on my ski. I need to convince one of the guys to strap on my helmet-cam and follow me around.
