update.......... Isabella is out from under the Lights and the heat lamp, she is in a regular crib, but still in the NICU area for observation, the lights (Jaundice) makes her really tired. Because of being tired she is not taking the bottle so they are having to feed her through a tube down her throat (after trying to bottle feed for about 20 minutes first), they do not want her burning energy just from eating...... Hopefully she will be home in a few days........ I will try to post some pics later, going to take a nap, been at the hospital all day, wiped out.......... It gets really emotional when you are in there, overwhelmed by Isabella, then seeing all the premie's in there....... just today I heard them talking to the Dr about a girl that was 21 weeks pregnant in labor, water broke etc........ they asked him to talk to the girl and her family (Family has requested that they do everything possible), the Dr's response........ "There is nothing that I can do, put 4 or 5 chest tubes in over a course of days or weeks only to watch the baby bleed out, there is zero chance of survival with this case...........", I was sitting in a chair holding Isabella at the time. I looked down at her and started squalling..... Just thankfull that she will be ok soon.......... I now say a prayer for each baby in there........... So, for whatever ride we do, lets please do some kind of charity for Children (Hospital, etc...), Kathy understands exactly what I am talking about.

Again, thanks for all the kind words.

Harrison, Anita and Isabella.........

Harrison, Anita and Isabella.........
With as many babies that the X will be having this year, I think a Children's Hospital benefit is in order for "The Ride". I had 3 nephews that benefited from services of Children's Hospital & without that care, I don't believe any of them would have made it.

I'm glad that Isabella continues to improve & we all anticipate the day she can come home.

Harrison, Anita and Isabella.........

Unfortunately, I know exactly what Harrison is talking about first hand..... When we first started planning this Lanier Ride - I asked the guys about using Egleston Hospital (NICU and Cardiac) for the charity...... I feel Egleston gave me 2 1/2 years with my son Patrick..... Had we not had that wonderful hospital in Atlanta - I don't think I would of had that precious time with him....

Egleston turns no child away no matter what!!! They are around due to private funding by people just like you and I....... Either way - I do love the idea of the charity they listed for Lake Martin too! (if we decide to go that route). But whatever everyone decides is great with me.....

Hang in there Harrison, Anita, and Isabella - I truly believe that you will all be home together soon.......

Harrison, congrats to you & Anita! As with kids only the best is yet to come. Pretty cool having your own "Crew" to load up and take off for the weekend.

Once again Congratulations!! She is sure a pretty baby.
