Little update. The whole point of this was to fix the bendix because the starter was spinning (2 months ago) but the engine wasn't.
So I've chased the new problem down to the starter. Cables are good.
Sucky part is that I siliconed the nose of the starter because I think that's where the water got in that caused the bendix to fail. So now I have to clean the silicone off.
I almost want it to be the starter. Cause if it works, I'm gonna set the whole thing on fire.
