It's been a year since I got my PWC License. Here are some great memories.

Where it all started. This beaut' took 3 months of annoying dad, getting cut by zipties, and swearing at the carbuerator bolts to finish.

She then underwent some... Upgrades. UMI steering, an RPM gauge, and a different seat with a MLine cover.

Look at that awesome shape.

Fuzzy closeup of the steering and displays. This was the best morning I had last year. Me, the lake, and my XPL. :brap:

Don't worry, I haven't forgot about the standups.

This is my 750SXI. Great fun to ride, and it was the first standup I rode properly.

Goofing around on my knees.

This is from after reading the issue of SPLASH or PWI were they interviewed The Slasher, and it had explanations of leg drag turns and high speed stances. Literally nothing like going full bore on a standup

Same here in the states I think ......if you were born after 1984 I think????

I've never heard of that before and I live in Cali where they have a law for everything! As much as I hate regulation, at minimum a ski operating class should have to be taken for anyone who buys a couch (Stand ups are self policing). Not hating on couches, there are many very talented couch riders out there, its just that when you get a noob on an 80mph couch your asking for trouble.

In Washington you have to take a online "boaters safety coarse". They send you a license in the mail and you are suppose to have it on you at all times

Which of course is watered down bull:):):):). Any clown with an Internet connection and a couple hours can pass that class.
Let's not call it a license.

In NJ, you need that BS boaters safety course to get a cert that your supposed to carry with you. 5 hour online class then take a test at a Marina or somewhere that issues the tests. Its very easy. Thats just for tidal waters though.
On a lake you have to get a boaters license from the DMV, which is also just a written test.
