At one point I thought it'd be funny to collect LaserDisc or Betamax. What media do you collect movies on?

Digital only these days, two formats, .MKV and .MP4. The MP4 versions are scaled down for our iPads and iPhones only. Everything else is 720 to 1080 with a few of the newer ones in 4K now that I built a new server that is capable.

I have 24TB of storage on my Plex Server and have multiple channels for different content. What’s really cool is that I can share my library with friends and family too so everyone in the family can stream all our content.

I currently have 488 titles in my HD movies channel and over 700 for the iMovies. Working on building up a channel for TV shows now as well.

How do you download them?

I won’t download from torrent sites so I rent from either Redbox or Netflix and just burn a copy.

I use software from Playon to record streaming content like TV shows.

Since I've had a kid and have been working a lot and now have another kid on the way... I've been collecting inches on my waistline. No time to ride the ski.

You need to get some powerwheels for the kiddos! Lots of ways to mod them cheaply and kids love them.

That's definitely part of the plan. My daughter got a tiny electric quad for Christmas, but she's terrified of it. I need a neighbor's kid to come show her how to ride it and then she'll be all over it. Hopefully by this time next year I'll be running 12 or 24 volts in it
