Blaster JAM Sponsons

Question for anyone who uses JAM Sponsons - do they screw right in or do you have to modify (sand or grind down) part of the sponson to get them to fit right?

Would like to hear any thoughts on installation and how to get the most out of them.

As you can see in this picture, the inside of the bond rail isn't straight, so some sponsons have to be modified to fit right.

They screw.right in and work awesome. Some people grind a angle on them but I found right out of the box to work great

Got the JAM Sponsons and want to make sure I'm installing them correctly. Which of the pictures is right?

And do I put the sponsons flush with the back of the hull or move them as far back as possible? (Which would put them about a 1/2 inch or so past the back of the hull.)

I did mine all the way back and they work great
