Freestyle Jaz Tank Fuel Pickup Question

Ok, so how is everyone using these barbs as pickups? There's no way a hose is going on this barb with the rubber grommet.

Pull the grommet off.

Grommet keeps the nipple secured to the tank, otherwise it would just flop around

you need the ones with a barb for the compression fitting AND a 1/4 barb for the fuel line

People been running these long before cold fusion had their barbs. They make a great kit but the tank is already drilled out for this larger grommet unforchantly.

I just went to the local hardware store and found some fitting that would work, Drilled a couple holes, used some rubber washers to make it seal. It works pretty good.

Wasnt pushing the cf part just trying to show you an example of what you need.
Both fittings use a 1/2 inch hole in the tank
The 1st barb goes thru the 1/2 inch gromet like you have , there is than a second barb on the cf fitting that the fuel line fits on
