Super Jet Jazz Tank Assembly - help please!

Picked up my first Jazz which arrived a couple of weeks ago - how do you attach the pickups etc?

The header flap is fitted - but a 'how to' on the rest would be great?

Thanks in advance to anyone that can help me?

Drill holes where you want the fittings with 1/2" drill or equal
Push grommet in hole and the push fitting .
If its cold out bring to room temp it will be easier together fittings in .

Still slightly baffled by this - if I push in using the grommet as described I end up with no nipple left exposed inside the tank to slide the pipe onto! Are you supposed to trim the grommet back before fitting?

You put the fittings on the side of the tank on the bottom. You don't use hose inside the tank.

I can take a pic of mine in the morning if that helps

We run ours all at the top... Bottom hasn't worked out well in the past

2 ways you can do it... Take some metal tubing a solder or epoxy weld a pickup tube into the 90... Brian sells pickups already made for the tank, just cut to length... You can either do full length and set it about 1/2 off the bottom or just use 3 in tube and do fuel tubing with clunk... Opt #1 works the best

Thanks Josh, I would take Brian's pickup, shame I wasn't offered one when I ordered... It costs $30 to get the smallest item into the UK (outside of shipping) so I'll have to fab something locally. Is JB Weld fuel proof then? If it is I'll insert a tube into the 90'

What size exhaust tube did you tap into your XfS exhaust to stop the pump blow by going up the exhaust? Need to get some this week.

TIA.

I'll double check the exhaust tube size tomorrow, can't remember but I think it's 2 1/2in...

Yes I have used JB weld on the pick ups before , just make sure you rough up the pipe and the fitting

I haven't been able to get a response from thrust. Josh can you help me out.

The solid pickups that you recommend; do those have to be mounted on the topmost flat part of the tank, or could they be mounted on the angled face?
I think I can get the 17 in clearance for the 4 gallon tank, however if the fittings are at the top may not get it.

Do the solid pickups come with the $225 tank? The website says 4 fittings but nothing about the pickups.
