The Xtreme 3 is $350. The Xtreme 2 is $190. It is bigger than what a lot of people use for portables but this thing has exceptional sound quality. They actually reduce the wattage on battery for the advertised battery life, so it sounds even better when plugged in, because it uses the full potential on AC power.

I got my xtreme 2 on cyber monday last year for $160 shipped. Excellent sound quality and loudness for a good sized shop. Being waterproof is nice for camping and keeping dust/dirt out too.
