F rat, Just use the Enhancer when you set the timing with the light... don't mess with the stock cdi! You need to KNOW what timing your running with the final parts install...You need to note how much retard YOUR enhancer is giving you, then you can adjust accordingly to get the timing where you want at top RPM's. Your goal is to run as much as you can and not go over 20-21 degrees at high rpm to be safe from detonation. if you freestyle only you can get away with a bit more...depending on compression ratio and carb jetting.
