I'm happy with the results.
Shipping is the only downfall. Cost both ways but 40 coils and 75 for start stops restored.

Just interested as I seem to go through loads of start/stop switches

He replaces everything inside the start stop and all new wires. No wires required for replacement. Pretty much better than new other than cases

Ya. I've put used ones on and after a short bit I find myself floating dead in the water. I'll send a few in, have em done right and pretty much be sure that's not my issue. You know.

I have done all the usual tricks mate, they're just the route of most issues in surf.
I'll bag a load of crap ones up and send them over to be refirbed.

Why rebuild old start/stops switches when you can replace all the switches and harness with new OEM for almost the same price?


Yamaha OEM SJ start/stop switch repair harness assembly 96. Disc to 89.
(This is the complete s/s/s wiring harness and all new switches assembly except the plastic housing on the bars.)

Jss did a bangin refurb of my kawi 1100 Ebox couple years ago

I recommended JSS to my buddy for his sxr1100 gremlins and JSS said "no".

Middle cylinder randomly stops having spark. He has a brand new oem stator and two very clean ebox's and has the same problem with both. Running a 2ga ground.
