Freestyle Jetski Transport Bags!

After a summer season of skiing and loading the ski in and out of vehicles and on and off trailers I was looking for a suitable cover or transport bag for the ski. Ovbiously there wasn't anything on the market that suited the job so we had some made to measure for the rickters! I have to admit we are seriously impressed with how they turned out!!! We asked a manufacturer to make a couple of transport bags for us with the view to something heavy duty that would take the punishment. We had some 1 ton lifting straps, a water proof membrane and 5mm neoprene padding stiched into the bag, see the pictures below !

We joked about this concept a few years back so we could check our skis on a plane like luggage. Great job guys!

I think they are cool and nicely made. But what are they used for ? Serious? Re you using these for overseas transport or trailer use ?

Thread says for the back of truck beds and trailers
i would suppose enclosed trailers where the ski would be sitting on the floor with stuff packed around it

Looks good ! I wish we could really just throw these on as airline carry on...but it looks like it work great in other situations, such as in a crate or car/truck transporting.thumbs up !

Nice...I could see a market for those. I have some friends who have shipped hulls in coffin sized board bags, and I've traveled and brought motors in pieces on plenty of trips. You guys seem to keep riding smaller and smaller hulls so I don't think the size/weight limits will be as much of a problem as they were in the past. Sickerling brought at least one hull to he US that way, he told the airlines it was his "little boat."

I put the ski in the back of the truck fairly often, and if I was looking to protect a nice new hull, this looks like a good option.

You have an idea on pricing?

Pricing is similar to an OEM Yamaha Superjet cover, plus this is night and day better quality, and covers all round protecting top and bottom and seals in odour/mess should you wish to take your ski away inside a motor home/winibago.

I could ask how quickly they could make them if a few riders are interested? You can choose any colour and logo you like or perhaps your rider name printed on the bag as shown!

Pricing would $299 - these are hand made bags, not Chinese!

Put your name, ski type and picture down (you will probably need to check permission to advertise that picture) and I could get it sorted for you?

Thanks for all the PM's, didn't think they would be this popular.. I'll get the shipment prices sorted and sent back in the next few days.

They have advised 7 - 10 working days from order to get them made.
