Jetting, help me please...

Ok so I tried a few more things. Threw in 120 pilots and it definitely idles better but no matter what I do, soon as I touch the throttle it shakes like crazy. I thought it might be a leaking pop off so I rechecked them and set them a little higher at 32psi, still did the exact same thing. Also checked my spark and it seems pretty blue and consistent.

If the pop off is too high it will just quit and sputter out. you said you tried 20? That part of the circuit is just off idle

I tried 18, i tried 27, and 32 for popoff. And i accidentally ran it at 50psi on sunday which it had no midrange obviously. And it its quiting or sputtering out, i could literally hold it at like 2500rpm while it shakes like a paint shaker and it keeps going.

Still sounds electrical. Try running a ground from the battery directly to your ebox. Still has an issue try another stator.

I agree, If it was mechanical it would most likely make the vibration all the time, not just at a particular rpm range and would get worse with rpm not better. I have a new coil coming in, prolly gonna order a new stator too.

Ill try running a direct ground tonight, why does that make a difference? Just a bad ground between the stator and cases?

How bright are the sparks on your sparkplugs with an MSD? Mine don't seem the brightest, its definitely blue and consistent though.

Lol I know it's not much trouble to check. I just don't have a compression tester right now. My last one was finicky so I returned it. Still need to buy a new one.

Ok so things to check tonight: run a ground from battery to ebox, and im gonna pull apart my fuel pumps and make sure the filters and return restrictors are clear. Praying I find and solve a problem tonight...

Ran the ground and fuel pumps clear, no blockages in restrictor or filter. Same thing. I can kind of get it to idle (1500rpm ish) then touch the throttle (maybe a 100 rpm increase) and goes nuts until I get to a higher rpm (3000rpm or so maybe 1/4 throttle) where it smoothes out almost completely

Just came in today, also got another stator and blackjack carbs lol. So much for not spending a ton of money lol. I'm heading out of town for a week to visit family tomorrow. Bringing the skis with me, hopefully I'll have some updates on how it's working in the next few days. Just need some new jets to dial in the blackjacks according to Art. If these 3 don't solve the problem the only other thing I can think of is my ebox itself is the issue and if that's the case then I'll be ordering a stock ebox. Gonna test one at a time so I know. Starting with the coil, then blackjacks, then stator.
