Need some help with tuning...i havent run my current ski as i bought the motor off a member a while a go and finally got it going...

I am running dual mikuni 44SBN's, the jetting specs that are currently in the motor are as follows:

L: 55
H: 120
N+S: 2.3
pop off: 17psi
80 gram spring

My elevation is 2100 ft above sea level (last owner was around 800-1000) and i am running the following mods:

factory wet pipe
RAD lightened flywheel
Ported+Polished
V force reeds
R+D Intake
ADA head with 170 compression
timing advance

I am worried about running it and finding out it is too lean and blowing up my engine which i have been busting my *** to build (55 seems so small).

What would you guys recommend/think about my situation? are these jets a good starting point or is there another good starting point?

lemme know and thanks in advance.

I am no jetting guru, but I am confident that 55 pilots will be too lean.

Check out the carb jetting database.
There should be something close to your setup.
I've ran something similar in the past and ran 24 psi popoff with 2.0N&S, 115 pilots, and 122.5 mains.

What Matt said is a good starting point or
Pilot jet 120
Main 105
2.3 N&S
18 gram spring

Every motor is diffrent.

And remember to read the Mikuni manual and get a tachometer to tune.
