I just took a dremel to the bottom for more traction. I'll post up how they hold up and if the traction mod worked or not.

1st lesson: the melted rubber will not come off your shirt.20181026_083730.jpg20181026_083758.jpg20181026_084713.jpg

how do they feel kicking into footholds, and hows the arch support on them? i ran wrestling shoes the past 2 years and have hurt my foot twice because they have no support in the arch, or ankle.

Friend bought a pair back in 2013. They lasted a year and fell apart.
I get about 3-4 years on boots, but I honestly do not ride as much as I did in 2006. Back then, I would get about 1.5-2 years on Slippery Boots. Honesty, by 1 year, they would be something starting to comes loose, or shoe laces fraying. etc

These are version 3 so hopefully they will last more than a year. Havent had them in water yet to test. I ground the areas under the balls of the feet. They come looking like the area under the heels.

One day at the lake. Showing some serious wear. I cut the torn straps and used a blowtorch on the frayed ends and on the threads. Longevity isn't looking good. I may have just pissed away $100. I'll update again after the next ride. They held good traction though. I only came out once and it was on someone else's ski with a 1200 dasa.20181028_142102.jpg20181028_142107.jpg20181028_142135.jpg20181028_142139.jpg20181028_155421.jpg

Update: After ride one I also realized that the liner had separated from the foot pad insert.20181111_151100.jpg

After ride 2-5 they seem to be holding up ok other than foot pad inserts starting to tear. I will ad that the zippers will not work if your foot is sandy.20181111_151016.jpg20181111_151007.jpg
